Booking location

{{booking_location}}

Inputs the location which has been added to the booking.

What is the booking location and where is it set up?

When a booking is created for a service, it will populate in your calendar. If you click on the booking you will notice on the details page that there is a field called location:

This field automatically populates with the location that has been set up on the service. If no location has been added to the service it will remain blank:

However, this field can be edited per booking by clicking on the booking in the calendar and selecting the pencil icon next to the location field. This can be useful when you offer a service that is hosted at different locations depending on the date and time of the booking.

How will this display within our communications?

Here is an example of an english email template set up with the booking location variable:

or

<p>Hi {{customer_firstname}},<br>
Thank you for booking the {{booking_label}} on {{booking_start_time}}.</p>

<p>{{resource_name}} will be looking after you for the duration of your visit and will be at reception to welcome you when you arrive. The {{booking_label}} will take place at the {{booking_location}}. If you have any questions prior to your booking, please don't hesitate to get in touch by replying to this email. </p>

<p>We look forward to seeing you on soon, however if you need to cancel your booking you can do so <a href="{{booking_cancellation_url}}">here</a>.</p>

<p>Thanks,<br>

When a customer books, they will then automatically receive a booking confirmation email which will be constructed using the template we have saved above. This will then display as so:
