Please note that if you wish to take payments through Appointedd you will need to integrate your account with one of our payment processing partners; Stripe, Square, or Braintree. 

To take payment for services that either don't require payment at the time of booking online, or are made in person or over the phone, you can send the customer a payment request email. This will contain a link to either pay a deposit, or the amount in full. 

How to send a payment request when making a booking internally within your Appointedd account: 

  • Click add booking 
  • Select the service 
  • Select the date and time 
  • Add the participants and tick the box to send request payment (this option will only appear if the service requires payment)
  • Click create booking

How to send a payment request for a booking previously made in the Appointedd calendar:

  • Click on the booking in the calendar
  • Click the customers tab
  • Click the dots next to the appropriate customer
  • Click send payment request

How to send a payment request to multiple customers on the same booking simultaneously:

  • Click on the booking in the calendar
  • Click the customers tab
  • Check the boxes on the left of every customer you wish to send a payment request to
  • Click request payment.

Please also note that payment requests are sent by email so to ensure that they are received, a valid email address is required. You can check a customer's email address in their customer record.
