This integration is designed for Appointedd users with a Yext subscription who manage physical locations across multiple sites. Whether you’re a retail chain, a service provider, or any business with a large geographic presence, our Yext integration helps you simplify multi-location management, save time, and drive bookings.

The Yext integration empowers you to manage your location data, booking visibility, and store closures seamlessly across platforms. By connecting Yext with Appointedd, you can:
🔄 Sync your location data from Yext to Appointedd
Keep your location information consistent and accurate. Sync your address, location, and coordinates directly from Yext to Appointedd, ensuring that Yext remains your single source of truth for location data. This eliminates manual updates and ensures store information in Appointedd is always up-to-date.
🔗 Send your direct booking URL to Yext
Increase your booking visibility by pushing a direct booking URL from Appointedd to the Reservation URL field in your Yext location entities. This link can be shared across Yext’s extensive publisher network, helping drive even more bookings for your business.
🛍️ Sync store closures from Yext to Appointedd
Sync temporary and holiday closures from Yext to Appointedd, so that when your store is closed in Yext your availability will automatically become blocked in Appointedd. This eliminates the need for manual updates to your availability.
🏁 Enabling the Yext integration
Before you start, please make sure that you:
Have an active Yext account with location entities accurately set up.
Have administrative access privelages to your Yext account.
Have admin access to the Appointedd account(s) you wish to connect.
Log In to Your Appointedd Account
Ensure you’re logged in as an admin user.
Navigate to the Yext Integration
Go to Connect > Yext from the Appointedd menu.
Check the integration status in the top right hand corner
Disconnected: Follow the steps below to enable the integration.
Incomplete: Skip step 4 and continue configuring your integration.
Connected: Your connection is already live. To adjust the configuration, skip step 4 and continue configuring your integration.
Press the "Connect Yext" button to begin the setup process
You will be prompted to log in to your Yext account.
If you are already logged into Yext, you won’t need to re-enter your credentials.
After successfully authenticating, the integration status will update to Incomplete and some additional configuration options will appear.
Important notes:
You only need to authenticate your Yext account once.
Once authenticated, all Appointedd accounts that this user has access to will be authenticated with the Yext account.
Configuration is done at the individual account level. If you have a large volume of accounts to configure, reach out to your CSM for support.
⚙️ Configuring your integration
Once you’ve authenticated your Yext account, follow these steps to configure your integration:
1️⃣ Map your Location Entity to Appointedd
Locate your Location Entity ID in Yext
This can be found in the Core Information section of your Yext Location Entity.
Enter the full Location Entity ID into the designated field in Appointedd.
Ensure there are no extra spaces or characters.
Press the "Validate Entity" button.
Once successfully validated, the integration options will unlock, allowing you to adjust the integration settings.
2️⃣ Configure your integration
You now have three configuration options to customize how the integration works.
⚠️ You must press the "Confirm and sync" button to save your configuration settings. Your sync will not be active until you do this.
Address / Latitude & Longitude Sync
This option syncs your business address and coordinates from your Yext Location Entity to your Appointedd business profile.
How it works:
When enabled, these fields in Appointedd become locked, preventing manual edits.
Upon activation, the address data from Yext will be synced to Appointedd, overwriting any existing address data in Appointedd.
Whilst active, any updates made to the address data in Yext will be synced with Appointedd (this can take a few minutes).
When disabled, syncing stops, and the last synced values are retained.
Reservation URL sync
This populates the Reservation URL field in Yext with a direct booking link for one of your Appointedd widgets.
Please note: If you plan to use the booking URL feature, a booking widget 2.0 must be set up on the Appointedd account(s) you plan to map to Yext.
How it works:
This option is only available if the Appointedd account is associated with a booking widget.
If multiple booking widgets are linked to the account, you’ll be able to select one from a dropdown list.
When enabled, the direct URL for the selected booking widget will be sent to the "Reservation URL" field in your Yext location entity.
When disabled, the Reservation URL field in Yext will be cleared of any previously synced Appointedd URLs.
Store closure sync
Sync temporary and holiday closures from your Yext Location Entity’s Temporarily Closed and Holiday Hours fields to Appointedd. This blocks bookings across all resources during closed periods.
How it works:
When enabled, closures will sync automatically, preventing new bookings during these times.
Any bookings that are already in your diary will not be impacted.
When disabled, the system reverts to the service/resource availability set in your Appointedd account.
