By applying groups to your resources, you can allow customers to select the group they wish to book with and offer different booking tools to different customers.

How can I group resources for my business?

Resource grouping can be used in your business to group resources by your structure. For example by:

  • Department e.g. sales, support and tech
  • Location e.g. Glasgow, Manchester and London
  • Specialty e.g. sports massage, injury follow up and reflexology
  • Type e.g. meeting rooms, conference rooms and tour operators.

How to create a resource group

  • Go to your resources page under the your business tab
  • Under the search bar on the right, click add group
  • Enter the name of your group
  • Select the resources who are part of the group
  • Click save group.

How to edit the resources in a group

  • Go to your resources page under the your business tab
  • Click manage groups
  • Click the pencil icon next to the group you wish to edit
  • Select/deselect the resources you wish to add/remove from the group
  • Click save group.

How to link to your group's microsite

When you create a resource group, a microsite is automatically generated for that group. By linking to this microsite, your customers can only book with the group of resources you wish them to:

  • Go to your resources page under the your business tab
  • Click manage groups
  • Hover over microsite link and click copy

Distribute this link around your customers to allow customers to book with that group of resources!

How to create a booking widget for one resource group

As well as generating a microsite for each of your resources, you can create a booking widget specifically for that resource group. See this guide to how to create a booking widget and simply limit it to the resource group you require.
