How do I set it up?
To add a custom schedule to a service, follow these steps:
Go to the Setup tab.
Select Manage services.
Find your service and click the pencil icon to edit it.
In the Availability section, turn the custom schedule toggle ON.
Click Manage to create your schedule.
💡 Tip: On step 3, if you see a calendar icon next to your service, you can click that instead of the pencil icon - it will take you straight to the custom schedule for quicker access.
When creating your custom schedule, you must fill out the availabiity form. You can select available (to add in times) or unavailable (to block off times).
Please note: If you add an available ✔️ schedule on top of an unavailable ❌ schedule, the unavailable ❌ schedule will supersede. Then, if you delete the unavailable ❌ schedule, the available ✔️ schedule will come into place.
Next, you can choose the dates the new schedule should apply to. You have four options to choose from:
Apply to only a specific date only - this will default to the date you selected.
Apply to a date range - you can choose the specific start and end date you'd like this schedule to apply to.
Apply to a specific weekday every week - this will default to the same day every week.
Apply to multiple days from the date that you selected - this option allows you to customize the frequency, recurrence, days of the week, and even the end date of this schedule.
You can then select the start and end times, you can add in multiple times, and amend the timezone.
Before you click to save the schedule, you have the option to add a reason for this schedule and you can see a summary of what dates or days the schedule will apply to.
❗️Don’t forget to click the pink “Save” button to save your schedule after creating, updating, or deleting any dates.
2. How do I update or cancel an existing schedule?
To adjust an existing schedule, head to the service page and click on the calendar icon (the custom schedule).
It will show you the existing custom schedule that's already been applied, and if no dates and times are showing, it means no schedule has been added.
If you're looking to cancel an existing schedule, hover over the appropriate schedule and click in the x in the corner. If this is a recurring schedule, you'll have the option to delete only the one occurrence or all of them. Select as appropriate and hit confirm, then Save.
3. How do I review existing schedules?
Once the service schedules have been added, you will be able to view them by going to the Setup tab -> Manage services -> calendar icon.
Via the ⬅️ arrows ➡️ next to the date in the top left corner you can view the previous week's or the next week's schedule. The timezone next to this will default to your timezone. If you wish, you can view the service custom schedule in a different timezone by selecting the appropriate city from the dropdown⬇️:
4. How do I duplicate for other services?
When you duplicate a service, the custom schedule will not copy over. Here’s what to do:
Duplicate the service using the paper icon.
Adjust any service settings as needed - just don’t edit the custom schedule yet.
Save the service.
You’ll be returned to the service list. Find your new service and click the calendar icon (the custom schedule).
Add your custom schedule and save.
