A booking has been cancelled and I don’t know how

Bookings can be cancelled by you and your staff or by your customers. Understand and control how and when customers can cancel.

If a 1:1 booking has been cancelled and it's been removed from the diary, but you're not sure how, the best thing to do is check the activity log: 

  • Go to the customer record via the Customers tab

  • Click the Bookings tab

  • Click View booking button next to the cancelled booking

  • Click the Activity tab to see when and how the customer's booking was cancelled.

The Activity Log provides a timeline showing when bookings were created, updated, cancelled, and who performed each action.

If a customer from a group booking has been removed, and you're not sure how, you can...

  • Find the booking in the calendar

  • Click the Activity tab to see when and how the customer in question was removed from the booking.

For group bookings, you don't need to head to the customer profile first.

Alternatively, you can check the Activity Log directly through the Data section in your Appointedd account:

  • Navigate to the Data tab.

  • Select View activity log to view a detailed timeline of actions, including who canceled a booking and when.
