⚒️ Creating your Weebly account
To start taking bookings from your Weebly website, you first need to create an account with Weebly. You can do that here, and they will guide you through the process of creating your website.
When logged in to your Weebly account, click edit site to enter the website builder:
Important: if you wish to generate reports from your booking widgets, it's best to create your booking widgets in Appointedd first, before embedding them to your Weebly site. If you need reports on your booking widgets, please sign up to Appointedd first here and view this Weebly guide instead. If this is not important, please continue...
On your Weebly website builder, scroll to the bottom of the elements on the left of your screen and click + Add App. This take you to the Weebly App Store.
Search for Appointedd in the search bar
Click on the Appointedd app
Click Add
A dialogue box will appear. Click connect in the top right corner.
You will be directed to the Appointedd setup wizard where you can create your Appointedd account. When you have finished creating your Appointedd account, you will be taken back to your Weebly account.
Navigate to the website page where you want your booking widget to be.
Scroll down to the Appointedd app (under Installed Apps)
Now you can simply drag and drop the Appointedd app onto the desired page.
⚙️ Customizing your Appointedd booking widget on your Weebly site
Click on the booking widget on your Weebly site and you are presented with various options such as widget colours, widget settings and display mode.
If you choose to display your booking widget in the button display mode, click on the button to customise the button text, button style, position and spacing to your preferences.
Do not edit the link. Your booking widget will appear in a popover when your customer clicks the button.
Top tip:
As mentioned above, if you wish to generate reports from your bookings widgets, it's best to create your booking widget in Appointedd first before embedding them to your Weebly site. If this is important to you, please delete your booking widget on Weebly and view this guide on how to create a booking widget in Appointedd and add to your Weebly site. With the booking widget report, you can determine how many bookings were made from each of your booking widgets, the value of those bookings, and which of your booking widgets is bringing you the most business.
