Overview

In this guide we'll walk you through how to adjust availability at a service level. This will allow you to customise your availability further and add the particular times, days or dates a certain service is bookable (within the availability that resource working hours allow).

Below, you'll find guidance for the following

How to create a service schedule

  1. Hover over Setup and click Manage services

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit a service or click Add service to create a new one

  3. From the drop-downs, choose Availability

  4. Under Custom schedule, click +Add custom schedule and a calendar will pop up

Not showing? This is because your service duration is 1 day or more. The custom schedule only displays for durations of less than a day.


If a service is available on different days across the week:

  1. Select a day where the service should be bookable on

  2. Select Add times to input a time where the service should be available

  3. If you wish to add multiple times, click Add times after each input and repeat until all of the times are listed for that day

  4. If the service is bookable across multiple days, repeat the above steps until each day is complete

  5. Click Save and close


If a service is available only on a specific date:

  1. Ignore the days of the week and click SPECIFIC DATES

  2. Select the specific date and time at which the service is available

  3. Click the orange arrow to bring the date and time across

  4. Repeat to add all the available dates and times

  5. Click Save and close


If a service is unavailable on a specific date:

  1. Ignore the days of the week and click SPECIFIC DATES

  2. Check the tick box Unavailable

  3. Select the specific date at which the service is unavailable

  4. Click the orange arrow to bring the unavailable date across

  5. Repeat to add all the unavailable dates

  6. Click Save and close


What does merge back-to-back time slots mean?

Turn the toggle on if you want to merge your times together.

For example, if you input:

  • 9:00am - 10:00am > 10:00am - 11:00am > 11:00am - 12:00pm

  • = the times shown to customers would be available time slots between 9:00am - 12:00pm

  • in this case, the available time slots in your booking flow will be shown according to what you set under Time increments to display in availability

Turn the toggle off if you want to keep your times separated.

For example, if you added:

  • 9:00am - 10:00am > 10:00am - 11:00am > 11:00am - 12:00pm

  • = the times shown to customers would be three individual slots

  • in this case, the available time will show in hourly increments in your booking flow, regardless of the setting Time increments to display in availability
