How to edit and use your business booking page

Set up your business booking page and customize it with your branding, your images and business information.

This support guide will explore the business booking page, which is a mini website that Appointedd provides for every account.

πŸ“– What is a booking page and where can I find it?

A business booking page is a standalone web page that allows you to take online bookings, describe your business, and display photos. When you sign up to Appointedd, we give you your own business booking page.

You can find your business booking page by going to Booking tools > Go to the business booking Page.

πŸ“« How can I send my booking page to clients?

Your booking page is automatically generated for you and can be used if you don't have your own website or if you want to keep your booking tools separate from your website.

Grab your Booking Page URL link by going to Booking tools > Go to the business Booking Page and copying the URL on your web browser.

The format or your Booking Page URL will look like:

A few suggestions on how this booking page URL can be shared with clients:

  • by pasting the booking page URL link to your facebook page;

  • by pasting the booking page URL link in your email content or signature;

  • by hyperlinking it anywhere on your website;

Tip time! 🌟 Each resource has their own Booking Page link, too. Thus, they can also copy and paste their individual booking page link to send to their own clients. Alternatively, our widgets can also be set up on a per resource basis with further customisation. Learn more here.

πŸ”— How to edit the URL of your booking page

To edit your Booking Page go to Booking tools > Personalise your booking page.

You can edit the name of the URL link by clicking edit next to your URL.

If you don't see the edit option, it means the URL has already been changed so cannot be changed again. However, if you still wish to edit it again, please reach out to our support team for assistance.

πŸ–‹οΈ How to edit the design of your booking page

You can edit your booking page design by going to Booking tools -> Personalise your booking page:

  • Choose whether to show offers;

  • Select a theme for your booking page, which affects the font and the shape of the buttons;

  • You can also choose to apply your own colors to whichever theme you choose. Just click set colors and choose the color or enter the hex codes. Remember to save.

  • If you choose to display your business details, you can select which details you want to display. Flip the ON/OFF slider to display your business name, images, contact details, map and opening times.

The opening hours displayed on your booking page can be edited under the Setup tab -> click Edit opening times. Be sure to save your changes.

πŸ“– How to edit the content of your booking page

The business description, contact information, photos and the banner image on your Booking Page can be edited from Setup > Edit business profile.

🌍 Viewing your booking page in a different language

Your booking page will be presented to your customer in the language of their browser.

Only the automatically generated text will be translated. The text you have entered will remain the same.

Customers can toggle the language using the globe in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

πŸ“Έ How to apply service images and descriptions to your booking page

Check out this demo booking page here to see how the service images and descriptions are displayed when Book Now button is clicked.

To upload the service images and descriptions, simply go to the the setup tab and select manage services. From here, click on the pencil icon on the service and navigate to the basic details section - description and image upload.

You can also apply HTML in the service description to further customise it. Learn more here.

Please note: The service images alongside service descriptions will only display when "Book Now" button is clicked from the booking page sidebar, which will show a pop-up new booking tool with a service selection step, and in the last confirmation step, after the booking is completed. The service images will not be visible in the list of services on the initial booking page.
The 'Book Now' button is not visible if the Fixie theme is used. To see this button simply change the theme via Personalise my booking page.
