How to connect your Appointedd account with FreeAgent

Learn how to connect Appointedd with FreeAgent to share customer and booking details between your tools to automatically generate invoices.

When you connect your FreeAgent and Appointedd accounts an invoice will be automatically generated when a booking is made.

⚠️ Please note if you're using our recurring or multi-booking functionality - where customers can book multiple slots in a single transaction - only the first booking will generate an invoice. Before sending the invoice, ensure you update the price accordingly.

To do this, you need to create an account with Appointedd and FreeAgent.


βš™οΈ How to integrate

Connect your accounts by going to the Connect tab on Appointedd and clicking Connect with FreeAgent. Next, just click on the orange Connect button and log in to your account.

Please Note: If you are connecting your Appointedd account to a new FreeAgent account please let us know via the support chat in the bottom right, so we can make sure you start on a clean slate.

Integration settings

  1. Create an invoice in FreeAgent when a booking is created in Appointedd.

  2. Create a customer in FreeAgent when a booking is made in Appointedd.


πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ’» Importing customers from FreeAgent:

If you already have a FreeAgent account you can import your FreeAgent customers to Appointedd easily to add bookings with them and send them automated text and email marketing. To do this, just click on the customers tab and click import then click import from FreeAgent.


πŸ’Έ Generating invoices

Good news - we do this for you! Once you've connected your FreeAgent and Appointedd accounts an invoice will be automatically generated when a booking is made.

A couple of helpful tips below ⭐️

  1. If your service permissions have been set to "Online booking" - the invoice is generated straight away

  2. If your service permissions have been set to "Online request" - the invoice is generated once you have confirmed or accepted the booking*

*When a customer makes a booking in this scenario, the booking will pop into your calendar requesting an action. If you ever wish to change the price of a booking, we recommend changing the price before accepting the booking. This will ensure FreeAgent generates one invoice that correlates to the new and final price only.
