β How to cancel a booking
To cancel a booking, hover over the booking and click on the top-right cross. You can also click directly onto the booking and hit the red cancel button.
ποΈ How to ensure a booking remains in the calendar even if the last customer cancels
By default, Appointedd applies the following rules:
If the only customer in a booking cancels via the external cancellation link, the entire booking is removed from the calendar.
βIf a customer cancels within a group booking, they are removed, but the booking itself remains as long as other participants are still booked.
βIf a group booking's last remaining customer cancels, the booking is removed from the calendar.
However, in some cases - such as scheduled events or pre-booked slots - you may want to keep the booking in the calendar even if the last customer cancels.
β
To do this, simply enable the Retain Booking setting when creating the booking.
β
If this setting is enabled:
The booking will remain in the calendar as an empty slot if the last customer cancels.
To allow new customers to book into this slot, ensure the Online Booking toggle is also turned on.
This ensures your scheduled events or reserved slots remain visible and available for future bookings.
