ποΈ How to ensure a booking remains in the calendar even if the last customer cancels
By default, Appointedd applies the following two rules:
If the only customer in a group booking cancels, the entire booking is removed from the calendar.
If a customer cancels within a group booking, they are removed but the booking itself remains in the calendar because other participants were still booked on.
In some cases - such as scheduled events or pre-booked slots - you may want to keep the booking in the calendar, even if the last customer cancels.
To do this, simply add the event to your calendar and enable the Retain this booking toggle.
When this setting is enabled, the booking will remain in the calendar, even if the last customer cancels.
To allow new customers to book into this slot, ensure the Online Booking toggle is also turned on. This ensures your scheduled events or reserved slots remain visible and available for future bookings.
