How to update your availability

If you have already adjusted your business hours but it's still not working

If you have adjusted your business hours but this has not changed your availability, there are a couple of settings to pay attention to:

1. Resource working hours

Resource working hours override the business working hours. To adjust the resource working hours accordingly, please select Setup > Manage resources.

From the list of the resources please select the resource you would like to adjust by clicking on Working hours.

Make sure the available dates and times are added correctly, and save.

2. Service custom schedule

Service custom schedule allows you to only offer particular services on specific days and times.

If a customer is looking to book this service outside of the custom schedule times, the booking tools will not show any availability. For e.g. the custom schedule is set to 9am - 10am only, therefore anything before 9am or after 10am will not be bookable, even if the resource working hours are 8am - 5pm.

This feature helps to prevent scheduling conflicts and ensures that clients can book appointments only during the service's designated times, improving overall efficiency.

If you would like to have your service available for any time that your resources are available, go to...

  1. Setup > Manage services

  2. Click on the pencil icon next to the service you would like to edit

  3. Scroll down to the Availability section and toggle off the custom schedule

This ensures the service will adhere to the general resource hours. For e.g. it would be bookable 8am - 5pm as the resource working hours state.

If the service should be completely unavailable, you can leave the custom schedule toggle ON, but not add any times and keep the section blank, and save.
