Appointedd offers a comprehensive set of language localization features to ensure a seamless experience for both businesses and end-users. This support guide provides an overview of how localization for supported languages is applied across different functionalities in our platform.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» 1. Localized booking experience

To provide a smooth and accessible booking process, Appointedd detects and presents the booking tools in the language of the customer’s browser. This ensures that users can interact with the booking system in a language they understand, improving accessibility and ease of use.

If the detected language is supported, the booking interface will automatically appear in that language.

Customers also have the option to manually select their preferred language using the language dropdown in the top-right corner of the booking tool.

Note: currently Appointedd translates only the static content of the booking flow (dates, buttons etc). However, we're currently working on a brand new feature which will allow business to manually translate custom content (service names, descriptions, booking questions and more) where needed.

πŸ“§ 2. Localized email templates

Businesses can upload customized HTML email templates in multiple supported languages through our advanced communications feature. This feature ensures that all communication with customers remains consistent and relevant to their preferred language.

When a customer makes a booking in a specific language, the corresponding email template will be triggered.

If a template for the selected language is unavailable, the system will send the default template. Businesses can set a default template language in the code editor settings.

Note: We're currently building a feature enhancement that will allow businesses making internal bookings to determine what language email to send to the added customers.

🎟️ 3. Localized event tickets

For events or services utilizing our ticket functionality, Appointedd ensures that the generated PDF tickets match the language of the confirmation email sent to the customer.

By aligning ticket language with customer preferences, we ensure that attendees receive all necessary event details in a familiar language and guarantees a consistent experience from booking to check-in.

The PDF tickets will be translated according to the language on the email template.

⏎ 4. Localized reschedule & cancellation widgets

When businesses enable cancellation and reschedule links, these links will direct customers to rescheduling or cancellation widgets which will be localized to the language they selected during the booking process.

This ensures a fully localized user journey even after the initial booking, allowing customers to manage their appointments easily without language barriers.

πŸ’» 5. Localized backoffice for internal users

Appointedd allows internal users, such as staff members, to select their preferred language for the backoffice interface. This setting is user-specific, meaning different users within the same account can operate in different languages based on their preferences.

The selected language persists across sessions, ensuring a consistent experience upon login. This feature is especially useful for multilingual teams, as it allows each user to work in their preferred language without affecting others.

🎑 6. Upcoming: Custom content translations

Our team is currently exploring a feature that would empower businesses to seamlessly translate their custom content, including service names and descriptions, booking questions, CRM fields, and more.

With this enhancement, we aim to deliver a smoother, more personalized customer journey - breaking down language barriers and enabling businesses to connect with a truly global audience.
