How to get a direct booking link for a specific service

Learn how to generate a direct link customers can use to book a specific service or event

If you want to share a booking link that takes customers straight to a specific service - for example, to include in an email campaign, or a social post - you can create a booking widget in app.appointedd.com.

There are two ways to do this: clone an existing widget to keep your current branding, or create a new one from scratch.

Step 1: Go to Manage Booking Widgets

In the top navigation, go to Booking Tools and select Manage Booking Widgets. You'll see a list of any booking widgets already created.

Step 2: Choose how to create the widget

You have two options:

  • Clone an existing widget - find a widget that already has the branding and styling you want, and clone it. This is the quickest option if you've already set up a widget for another service and just want to point it at a different one.

  • Create a new widget from scratch - start fresh and configure everything yourself. Use this if you don't have an existing widget to base it on, or if you need different branding for this booking link.

Step 3: Name the widget

Under Widget name, give the widget a clear name so you can identify it later. This is an internal label only, so it won't be shown to customers. You can use whatever makes it easiest to find in your list (e.g. "Beauty Event - Kings Cross" or "Webinar signup widget").

Step 4: Select the account and service

Whichever option you chose, you'll need to:

  • Select the account the booking should be taken in.

  • Select the service you want the widget to link to.

There is a search bar to make it easier to find the account, and then the service.

Step 5: Choose the availability view

In the same dialog, you'll see an Availability view section. This controls how customers see the available dates and times when they go to book:

  • Calendar view - shows a calendar of available dates and times. Best for services with multiple dates and times across the week or month, where customers need to browse and pick a slot that suits them.

  • Event view - shows a list of upcoming time slots. Best for one-off events or sessions with limited dates, where customers just need to pick from a short list.

  • Custom (specify per service) - lets you set the view individually for each service, useful if you've selected multiple services and want some shown as a calendar and others as an event list.

Step 6: Apply and Save the widget

Once you've selected the account and service (and adjusted any branding if needed), select Apply and Save the widget.

You'll then be able to copy the direct booking link from the widget's details at the very top of the page - Get widget URL - and share it with customers wherever you need to.
