What is a blueprint?

Console blueprints are templates you can deploy across all of your Appointedd accounts.

Blueprints

A blueprint is a template that defines how your services, resources, schedules, and communications should be set up across your stores - so you don't have to configure each one from scratch every time.

Think of a blueprint like a cookie cutter. Instead of shaping every cookie by hand, you make your dough once and use the cutter to keep every cookie the same shape. A blueprint works the same way: you define your ideal setup once, then apply it consistently wherever you need it.

How blueprints work in practice

In your business, you might create a blueprint for a service you offer in every store, a resource (like a staff member or room) that needs the same configuration across locations, a schedule that should apply consistently, or a communication template that goes out to customers.

Once a blueprint is created, you associate it with the accounts where it should apply, and any changes you make at the blueprint level sync out to those accounts. This means you can update a service or a piece of branding once and have it reflected everywhere, instead of repeating the change in each account.

What's next?

More blueprints are on the way. We're working on blueprints for business settings, booking questions, booking widgets, and more.
