Step 1: Open a booking
From the calendar, click any booking to open it. Each booking opens as a new tab alongside the Calendar tab at the top of the page. This allows you to easily move between bookings and your main calendar view without losing your place.
You can close a booking tab using the x next to its name. The x will appear when you hover over the tab.
Step 2: Review the booking details
Every booking has three tabs:
Overview - date and time, duration, resource, participant, service fee, sales, booking source, and when the booking was created.
Participant - customer profile, contact details, total bookings, spend, products, no-show rate, and resource notes.
Forms & Notes - booking notes you can add internally, plus answers to any questions the customer completed when booking
Please note: The service fee will state the cost of the appointment. The sales fee will include the cost taken through the in-store POS. To connect your POS, you will need to speak with your technical teams and read our API docs here.
Step 3: Mark the arrival status
When the customer arrives for their appointment, click the green Arrived button at the top right. The booking status will update to reflect this and show Complete.
After the appointment, you can click the blue Complete button to close out the booking. This step is optional and up to you, but it's useful for keeping your records tidy.
Step 4: Rebook a customer (coming soon!)
Once a booking is complete, a purple Rebook button appears. Rebook will let you book the same customer in again with all their details - name, service, location, and resource - carried over. You only need to choose a new date and time.
Please note: Rebook is coming soon and isn't live yet.
Step 5: Cancelling a booking
If you need to cancel, click the red Cancel button at the bottom of the Overview tab. This will pop up a confirmation message where you can select Yes, cancel booking or No don't cancel.
Quick tips!
At the top of the appointment tab you will also see a booking reference - (e.g. #6a1564ef) this appears in the breadcrumb and is useful when searching or referencing the booking
At the top of the appointment tab you will also see X days - this tells you how far away the appointment is at a glance.
In the Overview tab there is an arrow next to the participants name - this will take you to the Participants tab. You can then redirect to the participant's record using the Profile icon.
