🌍 Overview

To ensure that your email communications clearly represent your brand, you can:

  1. Customize the content and body of your emails (see this guide).

  2. Add your own HTML header and footer to the emails sent from your account.

If you use a simple standard email template for the body, you can still add HTML headers and footers to incorporate your branding.

In addition to customizing the header and footer, you can also manipulate the content between them, such as applying center alignment, setting the font, and more.

Please note that adding HTML footers and headers requires some coding or HTML knowledge. We are unfortunately unable to build the HTML code for you, however you may find these guides helpful:

βš’οΈ How to create html header and footers

You can create an HTML header or footer by saving an image as HTML in Photoshop or similar programs. Alternatively, you can host the image on an online platform that generates HTML, which you can then copy and paste.

For guidance on adding images to your email communications, please refer to this guide.

Recommended dimensions:

We advise keeping your header and footer banner width between 600-650px. The height is entirely up to you, but we'd recommend no more than 150px. Anything greater can be too big as emails are often read in split view.

πŸ–ŒοΈ How to edit and add a html header and footer to your emails

  • Hover over the Email & SMS tab and click Manage email confirmations

  • Scroll to HTML Header And Footer and click:

    • "Edit HTML header" or

    • "Edit HTML footer"

  • Paste in your HTML and save.

πŸ“§ How to test the html header and footer

You can test your headers, footers, and email content by creating a new booking - either through your booking tools or directly in your Appointedd calendar.

Be sure to use your own email address and not a test email address, so you can see how the email will appear in your real inbox.
