Your microsite is the public-facing page customers see when they search for or land on your business online. You have full control over how it looks and what information it shows - from your branding to which sections appear and in what order.
1. Where to find it
Login to your Hub, and click on Administration → Organisations. Click the Microsite button and select the Display tab (next to Branding).
2. Slug
What it does: The slug is the unique piece of text, usually the account name, used in your microsite's public URL (e.g. slug.appointedd.com).
How to fill it in:
Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only - no spaces
Keep it short and recognisable (often your business name)
Example:
my-business-name
Tip: Choose something you're happy to keep long-term. Changing it later will change your public URL, which can break existing links or bookmarks.
3. Microsite page enabled
What it does: This is the master on/off switch for your public microsite page.
Checked: Your microsite page is live and visitors can access it
Unchecked: Your microsite page is turned off entirely, regardless of any other settings below
When to turn it off: While you're still setting things up, testing content, or if you want to temporarily take the page down without losing your settings.
4. Show business title
What it does: Displays your account's name at the top of the microsite page.
When to turn it off: if you'd rather not show your account name prominently (e.g. if your branding/logo already conveys this).
5. Show opening times
What it does: Displays your weekly opening hours to visitors. Useful for physical or service-based businesses where visitors need to know when you're open.
When to turn it off: if opening hours aren't relevant or you haven't set them up yet.
6. Show contact details
What it does: Displays your phone number, email, and address on the page.
When to turn it off: if you'd rather direct customers to a contact form elsewhere, or if you don't want this information public.
7. Show local time
What it does: Displays the business's current local time on the page, which is handy for visitors in different time zones who want to know if you're likely open right now.
This is unchecked by default, so when to enable it: if timezone context would help your customers.
8. About section position
What it does: Controls where your "About" description appears on the page relative to your services list.
Options typically include:
Before services list - visitors read about your business first, then see what you offer
After services list - customers see your services first, then read more about your business
How to choose: Pick whichever order best matches how you want to tell your story - lead with context, or lead with what you offer.
9. Saving your changes
Click Save changes (blue button, bottom right) to apply your updates
Click Cancel to discard changes and leave the page as-is
