Follow this step-by-step guide to have online booking integrated with your egg account.

Step 1- Signing up to Appointedd

First things first, click on this link to start the sign up process for Appointedd. You will be asked to put in your details and to add a resource (calendar) and input your services.

Once you have completed the sign-up process you will then have access to your Appointedd account. The first screen that you will see will be the booking calendar page:

Step 2- Setting up your Appointedd account

Depending on what your business is and what you would like to make bookable will determine how you set up your Appointedd account. Luckily, no matter what your needs are, Appointedd will have a simple solution and you will be ready to take bookings in no time!

Follow these steps to get started:

1. Set up your availability:

Firstly, you need to input into Appointedd when you are free to take bookings so that it can display available times to those who would like to book with you.

  • Go to Setup > Manage resources > Working hours. You will have added your resources (bookable calendars during the sign-up step, however you can add more if needed.

  • Set the days and times that you want to be available for bookings and hit save working hours. You can read more about creating resource schedules here.

2. Set up your bookable services:

Next up we need to create the services and events and you offer in Appointedd so that people can book them.

  • Go to Setup > Manage services > Add service. You have three options to choose from; standard services, multi-tiered services, or multi-part services. You can have a mix! You will have set up some services during the sign-up step. To edit these click on the pencil icon.

  • Add as many services as you like and categorise them into groups. A default category labelled "General" has been created for you as an example.

3. Set up your booking tools:

Once you have set up your calendars and have created services and events to populate into the calendars, it is time to create a booking flow so that customers can book with you.

Setting up a widget for your own website

  • Go to Booking tools > Manage booking widgets.

  • Click on the pencil icon next to the default widget to edit it. Rename the widget as you'd like.

  • Customise the look and filters on the widget to suit your needs. Here is a guide if you would like to take a look.

  • Click Save widget and copy the widget ID.

  • You can then add this widget onto your own website!

Setting up a widget for your egg profile

  • Go to Booking tools > Manage booking widgets > Create new widget

  • This widget should be set up as Pop over mode

  • Name the widget "egg widget"

  • In Appearance - use code #F43A48 for both frame colour and button colour

  • Click Save widget and copy the widget ID. This is the 16 digit number at the end of the code.

  • IMPORTANT: Send this widget ID over to the team at egg (info@weareegg.co.uk) who will place the widget on your profile so that people can start booking with you via the egg platform!

4. Customise your account

Now that you have the fundamental booking aspect of the system setup, you can start to customise it.
